Barefoot Educational units (Balwadi Programme)

Indo-German Social Service Society (IGSSS) :1995-96 to 1999-2000

∙ 60 Balwadi centres established in different habitations of Adhaura and Nauhatta Block for the Children of 3-5 year age group to prepare them for schooling.

Family Helper Project

Christions Children Fund U.S.A: 1984-1996

Free Education up to 8th Standard provided to 300 Children every year for twelve years.

Food Processing-cum-Training Centre

Main Activities:

 Carding, spinning and weaving of cotton and wool for providing employment to

rural women and artisans

to support family income of rural population

 Marketing support to cottage / rural industries and artisans for disposal of their

produce through our six retail outlets

 Technical back up to rural entrepreneurs in establishment of their own units

Leather tanning & carcass processing unit

Council for advancement of people’s action and rural technology (CAPART) :1997-98 to 1999-2000 continuous with self support

  • Establishment of an unit for training from flaying to tanning and manufacturing to Marketing of leather footwear and other items

 
  • Collection of carcass through local collectors to save them from middlemen
